Founded in 1973, Universitas Widyatama (Widyatama University) is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large city of Bandung (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (English: Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Widyatama (UTama) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universitas Widyatama (UTama) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as associate degrees, bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 43 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.
